Putting outstanding designs on display, Almanac of Asia-Pacific Design forges an interactive platform for exchanges and communication within the circles. It is most outstanding and authoritative international design yearbook. It collects the most excellent works in Asia-Pacific Region, including Sagmeister. Inc. (USA), Pearlfisher (UK & USA), Shinnoske Sugisak (Japan), CDR Associates (Korea), Lv Jingren (Chinese Mainland) Momorobo (Singapore), Ulhas Moses (India), Ductstore the design guru co., ltd (Thailand), Latinbrand (Ecuador), Fatemeh Karkehabadi (Iran), Leslie Chan (Taiwan), oded ezer (Israel), Canvas Group (Australia), Driv (Malaysia), Charles Ng (Hong Kong), Scott Brown (New Zealand), Black Squid Design (Australia) etc. It covers graphic, poster, VI, package design and so on. The success of previous 3 volumes has earned a worldwide reputation for it. As the top authoritative design almanac, it has been the collection of libraries of colleges and universities either in Asia-Pacific region or other countries all over the world.

Lv Jingren, a book designer and an illustrator, is the professor of Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University, and the visiting professor of Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is a member of AGI- Alliance Graphigue Internationale, deputy director of the Books Arts Binding Committee of Publishers Association of China, member of Illustrations Binding Arts Commission of Chinese Artists Association, and the art director of Jingren Design Studio. He was commented as one of the Asian top ten designers by Taiwan Common Wealth Magazine in 2007, and won the first Chinese Artists Accomplishments Award in 2008.
FREEMAN LAU SIU HONG
As the chairman of Executive Committee of Hong Kong Designer Association (1994-1995), the founder-member of "Design and Hong Kong Committee" and the Hong Kong's Ten Outstanding Youth (1997), Freeman Lau Siu Hong was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star by the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, affirming his effort on improving the image of Hong Kong design in the international stage, as well as his contribution to promoting the designing education of Hong Kong. Currently, he is the partner of Kan and Lau Design Consultants, and the vice-chairman of Director Office in Hong Kong Design Center.
Aaron Yin was graduated from the Graduate Institute of Design in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. He loves cate, reading, travelling and is enthusiastic and imaginative for design. He is also an active practitioner in promoting design activities and enjoys shuttling between design administration and teaching field. Now, he is the director of Design Association of Taiwan, and a full-time lecturer in Department of Art and Craft, Tung Fang Institute of Technoolgy.
Being an expert of modern design history, Wang Shouzhi is one of the founders of China Modern Design Education. Now, he is a tenured professor of Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, L.A., Besides, he is the subdecanal of Cheung Kong School of Art and Design of Shantou University . Meanwhile, he shoulders the design history courses in some famous American design colleges, such as California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, Southern California Institute of Architecture, and University of Southern California.
Being the board chairman of Shaw& Shaw Advertising Co., Ltd, Shao Longtu is a top master of Shanghai Design Center, deputy director of Expert Committee, Shanghai Creative Industry Center, commissioner of the Shanghai Brand Promoting Center Expert Committee, and the head designer of "Hai Bao" , the masco of the World Expo 2010, Shanghai, China.
Born in Macao, John Chui studied design in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the early 1980s. After graduation, he taught in the university. His works won the Hong Kong's Clock Design Competition for 5 times. His posters included 99' Return, 97' Macao Design Exhibition, Fashion- Two in One, Meet in Beijing, The Day of Return, Good-2000, People Insurance, 2000 Designer Expectation, Looking for the Root, Find It in Time and Bite, and You Can-- Blood Donation. Now he is the founder-member of Creative Design Consultant Co., Ltd and the vice-chairman of Macao Designers Association.
Since his inauguration May 16, 2006, president LEE Il-kyoo has been dedicated to making the Korea Institute of Design Promotion a top-notch design service institution from a global perspective.
He had been serving at Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (MOCIE) for improvement and growth of Korean trade and industry over the past thirty years. For the last few years before he came to KIDP, he held the title of Chief Executive Officer at Kyonggi Regional Small and Medium Business Administration.
While working as the first Director of Design & Brand Policy Division at MOCIE, he directed the construction plan of Korea Design Center in which KIDP is now residing. As an expert in establishing design strategies, he built foundation of the national design policies and has led development of industry in Korea.
Mr. LEE lectured on "Korean Design" at 2006 China Industrial Design week on November 7, 2006 and joined as the jury member for 2006 China Red Star Design Award which is organized by Beijing Industrial Design Center.
Mr. Saed Meshki is currently teaching at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tehran University. He is also a Graphic Designer and Art Director of Meshki Studio since 1987. Besides, Saed Meshki is also a member of Aliance Graphique International, Iranian Graphic Designers Society, as well as Board for Neshan (Iranian Graphic Design Magazine)
HIDEKI NAKAJIMA established Nakajima Design in 1995, and has been working as an art director and graphic designer. He is a member of AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale), The Art Directors Club (N.Y.), Tokyo Art Directors Club, and Tokyo Type Directors Club.
In 2000 Nakajima worked with Gugi Akiyama and Tycoon Graphics for the exhibition "Graphic Wave 5" displaying at Ginza Graphic Gallery. In 2001, his work was published at "Artist, Designer and Director SCAN #13" (Rikuyosha Publishing). In 2002 he had collaboration work with Ryuichi Sakamoto "S/N" (code). In year 2006, his collection book "CLEAR in the FOG" Hideki Nakajima was published by Rockin'on, and at the same year, his book "ggg Books-78 HIDEKI NAKAJIMA" was first shown at Ginza Graphic Gallery. In 2008 "TYPO-GRAPHICS" Hideki Nakajima was issued by Seibundo Shinkosha Publishing.

CHAN WINGKEI, LESLIE
Leslie, Chan Wing Kei, born in Hong Kong, was employed to Taiwan and started his career in his 24. He founded his own firm in 1991. He has been actively involved in graphic design field in China mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia. Chan has won more than 400 local and international design awards which include: German Red Dot Best of the Best Design Award, Three German IF Design Award, South Korean Seoul Asian Post Design Triennial Audience Award, Czech Bruno International Graphic Design Biennial Mayor Award, Macau Designers Association Audience Gold Award, Taiwan International Visual Design Exhibition Creative Gold Award, and so on.
Charles Ng, master of Design of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, honorary advisor of Hong Kong Designers Association (06-08), chairman of Hong Kong Designers Association (04-06), the Hong Kong Design Center, vice chairman of the board of directors (04-05), the United Kingdom Chartered Society of Designers full membership. Now he works as the founder and the Creative Director of MCL-a creative brand consultant company.
Han Zhanning, Born in Shanxi, China in 1970, graduated from Department of Fine Arts of Shanxi Normal University in 1993. He began to be engaged in graphic design since 1997, and moved to Shenzhen in 2000, worked as a secretary-general of the Shenzhen Graphic Design Association. His works have won a number of design awards at home and abroad. Meanwhile he has participated in design exhibition in worldwide, and published hundreds of literary works and publishing. The Asia cultural institution he lesds led by him has won above 80 important design awards home and abroad, even successfully bid the logo design of 2011 World University Games, which will be hosted by Shenzhen.
Ulhas Moses is an artist and graphic designer who runs the Ulhas Moses Studio, an award winning design practice in India. He holds a masters degree in Visual Communication from the Industrial Design Centre, IDC, IIT Bombay. His studio focus has been design innovation and the most innovative aspect of his practice is how it combines the energies and sensibilities of Art-Craft-Design - and approach engaging contemporary graphic design with traditional Indian symbolism and ideology to form a new Asian design grammar. His work is noted for its Expressive quality and his unique use of Vivid Colouring, and a highly detailed Artistic Illustrative style. He has worked for international clients creating branding programmes, event identities, book designs, illustrations, posters, murals and sculptures. His works have won the Type Directors Club ,(TDC) award and have been published in design journals and books.
Matt Warburton has been a Professional Member (MGDC) of the GDC since 1990 and was honoured with Fellowship status (FGDC) in 2003. He established Emdoubleyu Design in 1985. Matt has been members of the Vancouver Board of Trade since January 2008. In addition to Matt's work on numerous GDC executives, both provincial and national, he has spoken on design issues and his work at design conferences in Quebec City (1998), Halifax (2001), Winnipeg (2004) and Vancouver. He has contributed to a variety of committees over the years, including the Canadian Craft & Design Museum (2002), Design West (2003), the Canada Post Stamp Advisory Committee (August 2001 to February 2008), and he currently chairs the Kwantlen University College GDMA Advisory Committee.
Wang Shaoqiang, graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts with Master Degree, is the adjunct professor of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and the Director of Design Teaching and Research Office. He is a member of Design and Art Committee of Guangdong Artists Association, and councilor of the Guangdong Association for Culture. He was selected as one of the China top hundred outstanding design talents in 2006, and one of the top ten designers in Guangzhou in 2007.
He is also the chief editor of China's Advertising and Design Categories Yearbook, Asia-Pacific Design Yearbook, Chinese Real Estate Ads Yearbook, and more than ten other design teaching monographs.
