Algorithm as Design:
form-generating grid system
The grid, as a crucial auxiliary reference factor in graphic design and a benchmark for design, plays a key role in the final presentation of a project. Based on the grid, this book Analog Algorithm: Source-related Grid Systems uses algorithms to clarify a set of deep logical thinking principles that should be followed in design rather than blind action. It provides designers and architects with the tools they need to find and analyze forms, and points out the creation of new forms, new fonts, techniques for new logos and even new graphics.
